No, Crap No
I just saw an ad on TV for Kleenex Hand Towels and I am disgusted. America really needs to get over its petty germaphobia. There is nothing wrong with drying your hands with a regular towel. Absolutely nothing. There is no need to have paper towels in your house, never mind paper “hand towels” just for your bathroom.
Kleenex claims that they follow sustainable forestry practices but their hand towels don’t contain any recycled fiber, in order to achieve a “cotton” feel. Do you want to know what has a cotton feel? Regular towels.
This crappy product is a waste of trees and a lame excuse just to hock another product. There is absolutely no demand for one-use hand towels. Kleenex is just creating a demand by preying on people’s incessant desire for cleanliness and sanitation. In the end it’s just more trash in the garbage can. Trees are being cut down and ecosystems are being devastated just Kleenex can turn a quick product.
Madness. This sort of waste is just shameful. Paper products are inferior to their longer-lasting counterparts and we should all just do away with Kleenex and paper towels.

I completely agree. I use old bathroom towels for hand towels too. I cut them to size. As long as you keep food towels...
